紐約梨園社將於11月4號和5號舉辦「第十屆文化交流節」,並與佩斯大學孔子學院合作舉辦論文獎徵文。紐約梨園社為今年的活動特別邀請北京京劇院優秀青年團優秀演員楊少彭、李揚以及鄭瀟來紐約演出經典京劇《野豬林》,併在10月28日與十一月4日提供面向公眾的免費京劇講座,和在佩斯大學米高施梅爾藝術中心大廳舉辦書法展。紐約梨園社通過文化交流節推廣中國文化經典,連續第十年將精彩的戲劇演出帶給熱愛藝術的紐約客。

本次文化交流節主打經典京劇《野豬林》,11月5日下午2點於曼哈頓下城的佩斯大學米高施梅爾藝術中心(Michael Schimmel Center for the Arts at Pace University)公演。《野豬林》取材於文學名著《水滸傳》第六回至第九回,描寫林沖被告求陷害的家破人亡,最後被逼上梁山的經過。該劇原由楊小樓首演,經過改編,成為了李少春的代表作,並於1962年拍成電影。

此次演出我們特別邀請國家一級導演吳曉濱、國家一級演員張景濤為該劇導演,中國北京京劇院青年團優秀青年演員楊少彭、鄭瀟以及李揚分別飾演林沖、魯智深與林娘子。

以下是導演以及演員簡介:

吳曉濱,國家一級導演,大學本科學歷,著名戲曲導演李紫貴先生之高足。1985年至2001年任大連京劇團業務副團長、劇協副主席。導演劇目《梁山恨》、《合家歡》、《選美記》等曾獲國家文化部大獎。他的導演風格保持了其老師:“深刻、細膩、優美”的藝術特色。師承李增春、張鐵華等,曾主演《三打祝家莊》、《三盜九龍杯》和《七俠五義》深受觀眾喜愛。1988年始任藝術指導,率團在世界各地演出。1995年曾有一年內連續於日本、法國、瑞士三國演出的記錄。1999年與日方合作,導演(全本)《霸王別姬》引起轟動,1999年、2001年二次被邀赴日演出。現任紐約梨園社導演,中國大連京劇院藝術顧問。

張景濤,國家一級演員,中國戲劇家協會會員,1965年畢業於遼寧省戲曲學校,工文武小生,著名京劇表演藝術家葉少蘭先生之高足。扮相英俊,臺風瀟灑,嗓音寬亮,刻畫人物準確細膩,深受觀眾喜愛。常演《小宴》、《白門樓》、《轅門射戟》、《白蛇傳》、《望江亭》、《玉堂春》等劇。得葉先生神韻,可稱當今京劇小生行當之佼佼者。

楊少彭,京劇楊派老生。現為北京京劇院青年團國家一級演員。自幼隨父親楊乃彭學習楊派劇目,如《失空斬》、《伍子胥》、《擊鼓罵曹》等。1988年考入天津藝術學校, 1995年畢業。2002年考入中國戲曲學院中國京劇優秀青年演員第三期研究生班。2010年首屆全國優秀青年演員流派班“楊派班”一班學員。1998年3月1日獲北京市青年演員評比演出優秀表演獎,2001年1月在文化部舉辦的”全國京劇優秀青年演員評比展演”中,表演《文昭關》一劇,榮獲全國優秀青年京劇演員評比展演一等獎,2001年5月12日,在中央電視臺舉辦的”哈藥六杯”全國青年演員電視大獎賽中,參賽劇目《文昭關》一折,榮獲老生組”最佳表演獎”。

李揚,現為北京京劇院國家二級演員。畢業於北京戲曲學院,師從:夏韻龍,高長青,王福來,席裕身,孟憲達,楊振剛,趙振武,李吉慶。拜孟廣祿為師。求教於羅長德先生。曾獲第七屆全國青年京劇演員大獎賽銀獎。常演劇目:群.借.華、戰宛城、紅逼宮、黃一刀、長阪坡.漢津口、三打陶三春、野豬林、將相和、響馬傳等。

鄭瀟,國家二級演員。現為北京京劇院青年團優秀青衣演員,著名京劇表演藝術家梅葆玖先生入室弟子,第六屆優秀青年京劇演員研究生班研究生。師承於張春秋、姜鳳山、王誌怡、薛亞萍、李玉芙等名家。2012年被北京京劇院確定為“青年領軍”,曾榮獲文化部全國優秀青年演員折子戲展演金獎。常演劇目:《鳳還巢》《霸王別姬》《玉堂春》等。

This November, the New York Chinese Opera Society (NYCOS) will present “The Tenth Annual Cultural Exchange Festival”, celebrating the aesthetics of Chinese opera as well as the cultural exchange between the Americans and the Chinese. We also cooperate with the Confucius Institute at Pace University in the NYCOS Essay Award. Since 2007, our annual Cultural Exchange Festival includes essay awards, authentic Chinese Opera performances, free public lectures and calligraphy exhibitions. As for this year, the Cultural Exchange Festival will continue to serve as one of the most preeminent events in New York City, celebrating the rich diversity of the cultural development.

At this year’s Cultural Exchange Festival, we feature “The Wild Boar Forest”, a Peking Opera classic.On Saturday, November 5th, we are honored to have three Peking Opera performers Mr. Shaopeng Yang, Mr. Yang Li and Mr. Xiao Zheng, who come from the Youth Troupe of China National Peking Opera Company, to act the leading roles in the performance at Michael Schimmel Center for the Arts at Pace University.

Mr. Steven Wu, the National First Class Director, studied under the well-knowned Director Zigui Li. He was the Vice president of Dalian Peking Opera Troupe and Dalian Drama Association from 1985 to 2001. He directed “Li Kui and Song Jiang”, “He Jia Huan” and “Xuan Mei Ji” which received important award from China’s Ministry of Culture. His works reflect his teacher’s artistic style; impressive, exquisite, and delicate. He also received instructions from Li Zengchun, Zhang Tiehua, and other teachers and played the main role in many Peking Opera. In 1988, he became the art director and performed around the world and continuously performed in Japan, France, and Switzerland in 1995. In 1999, he collaborated with Japanese counterpart and directed “ Farewell My Concubine” in Japan. The show was extremely successful and Mr. Wu was invited to direct and perform again in Japan in 2001. He’s currently the director of NYCOS and art counselor of Dalian Peking Opera Theatre.

Mr. Jingtao Zhang who graduated from Liaoning Province Art School in 1965, is a nationally ranked First Class Performing Artist and a member of Chinese Theatre Association of China; specializing in the wen wu xiao sheng role. He studied under Master Shaolan Ye. His fine performance is well received by audience based on his handsome makeup look, solid operatic skill on stage and resounding voice. His extensive repertoires include “the Banquet”, “Bai Men Lou”, “Arbitration by Bulls Eye”, “the Legend of White Snake”, “Riverview Pavilion”, and “Yu Tang Chun”. Capturing the essence of his teacher’s unique performing style, Mr. Zhang has been one of the most outstanding Peking opera perfumers in the role of xiao sheng.

Mr. Shaopeng Yang, a nationally ranked First Class Performing Artist, is a member of the Youth Troupe of China National Peking Opera Company, specializes in the role of “lao sheng”. He learned “Yang school” opera with his father, Mr. Yang Naipeng, ever since he was little. After graduated from Tianjin Art School in 1995, he earned a master degree from the prestigious National Academy of Chinese Theatre Arts, studied “Yang School”. He won the “Gold prize” from “National Youth Peking Opera Competition” in 1998 and the “best performing Award” of CCTV(China Central Television) Singers Competition by playing the role in “A Narrow Escape”.

Mr. Yang Li, who is a nationally ranked Second Class Performing Artist, graduated Beijing Xiqu Vocational Institute of Arts, where he received the instructions from famous teachers Xia Yunlong, Gao Changqing, Wang Fulai, Xi Yushen, Meng Xianda, Yang Zhengang, Zhao Zhenwu, Li Jiqing, Meng Guanglu, and Luo Changde. He received sliver medal from The Seventh National Youth Peking Opera Performer Contest and plays many well-known operas.

Ms. Xiao Zheng is a nationally ranked Second Class Performing Artist from the Youth Troupe of China National Peking Opera Company, specializes in “Qingyi”. She became a disciple of Peking Opera artist Mei Baojiu. She graduated with a master degree from the prestigious National Academy of Chinese Theatre Arts. She won the “gold prize” from “National Youth Peking Opera Competition”. She regularly appears in “The Phoenix Returns to Its Nest”, “Farewell my Concubine”, “Yu Tang Chun” ,etc.
